VERMILLION – Sioux Falls Lincoln controlled most of their opponents through this season. The Patriots, after some early mistakes, made sure the title game would be no different.

Schafer, who was named as the Joe Robbie Most Valuable Player, passed for 187 yards for Lincoln (12-0).
O’Gorman (9-3) had the ball first, but Lincoln’s Mason Bolkema had an interception two minutes into the game, setting up the Patriots’ first score, a one-yard run by Jack Smith.
Lincoln later had an interception and a fumble, but extended the lead to 14-0 with 4:11 left in the first half on a 10-yard touchdown run by Sawyer Tolk.
Schafer’s first touchdown pass, 13 yards to Dawson Siem, extended the Lincoln lead to 21-0 with 3:45 left in the third quarter.
O’Gorman scored on their next possession on a 19-yard pass from Hayden Groos to Ryland Satter.
Schafer then found Siem again for a touchdown from 10 yards early in the fourth quarter.
