MADISON, WI – Brooke Schramek hit a layup in the last second Tuesday as Wisconsin topped South Dakota State in women’s basketball 66-64 at the Kohl Center.
SDSU (1-1) had rallied from nine points down to tie the game on a Madison Mathiowetz three-pointer with 51 seconds to play.
Ronnie Porter led Wisconsin (3-0) with a career-high 17 points.
Brooklyn Meyer had a career high 19 points with 11 rebounds and five blocks for the Jackrabbits. Mathiowetz scored 12 points. Mesa Byom scored 11.
