Stanley County Schools discussing cell phone ban during school hours

The Stanley County School District in Fort Pierre is considering implementing a cell phone ban during school hours.

School Board President Chris Fosheim says they’ve been having the conversations over the past few months.

Personally, Fosheim says he supports having a cell phone ban during school hours.

Fosheim says incoming Stanley County Schools Superintendent Rob Coverdale and incoming Grades 6-12 Principal Jessica Carr will lead the discussion as to whether or not the District puts a cell phone ban into effect.
