Wild Select Rossi In NHL Draft

ST. PAUL, MN – The Minnesota Wild selected Austrian center Marco Rossi with the ninth overall pick in the NHL Entry Draft. The 19-year-old played 56 games for the Ottawa 67’s of the Ontario Hockey League last season. He scored 39 goals and logged 81 assists. Minnesota general manager Bill Guerin said that the Wild were fortunate that Rossi fell to them in the ninth position.
