RAPID CITY – Numerous athletes from Stevens and Central High Schools are in quarantine due to positive COVID-19 cases, including the entire Stevens football team. Six people from that team have tested positive for the virus, according to district spokesperson Katy Urban. Also, 15 members of the Raider volleyball team are in quarantine after being exposed, but that team does not have any positive cases.
25 members of the Central competitive cheer and dance teams are quarantined after exposure to a positive case.
All activities for these teams are called off during the quarantine period.
