SIOUX FALLS – Members of Minnehaha Country Club have voted against extending the contract of the Sanford International. This means that the PGA Tour Champions tournament will likely end after the 2022 event.
A letter to the club’s members, obtained by the Sioux Falls Argus-Leader, said that the vote among members of the club was split 50-50 between extending the event and ending it. Consequently, the club’s Board of Directors declined a proposal to extend the contract through 2024.
