An increase of COVID-19 cases in Rapid City and around the Black Hills has prompted Black Hills State and South Dakota Mines to cancel the remaining games of their football schedules.
This coming Saturday, Mines was to have hosted Nebraska-Kearney and BHSU was to have played at Chadron State. The Hardrockers and Yellow Jackets were then to have played November 21 in Spearfish.
Mines played four games this season, going 2-2. Black Hills State was 0-2.
