BROOKINGS – South Dakota State basketball players Myah Selland and Matt Dentlinger have been named to their respective Academic All-District 6 teams by CoSIDA, the College Sports Information Directors of America.
Selland, a junior from Letcher, has a 3.97 grade point average in exercise science and community and public health. She led the Summit League in scoring at 19.2 points per game and was named Summit League Player of the Year.
Dentlinger, a senior from Arcadia, Iowa, receives this honor for the second straight season. All through his time at SDSU, Dentlinger has maintained a 4.0 GPA as a mechanical engineering major. Dentlinger shot 63 percent from the floor this past season while averaging 10.2 points per game.
