FAYETTEVILLE, AR – South Dakota State hit three home runs and had a complete-game three-hitter by Grace Glanzer in a 7-1 win Friday over Stanford in the first round of the NCAA Division I Softball Tournament’s Fayetteville Regional at Bogle Park.
Glanzer earned her 19th win of the season and pitched her 21st complete game.
Cylie Halvorson hit two home runs and drove in five runs for the Jackrabbits. Jocelyn Carillo also homered.
SDSU (43-6) matched a single-season program record for wins.
In a winner’s bracket game on Saturday, the Jackrabbits will meet host and sixth national seed Arkansas.
