RAPID CITY – Rapid City Rush Head Coach Daniel Tetrault has mutually agreed with the team to part ways.
Tetrault, a former Rush player and third head coach in franchise history, never led the team to the ECHL playoffs in his four seasons as head coach, compiling a record of 116-134-16-9. This past season, the Rush were 32-35-3-1.
Tetrault spent one season as an assistant coach before being named as the Rush head coach before the 2017-18 season. He was Rapid City’s captain in 2014-15, the final year of his 15-season playing career. In that season, Tetrault had six goals and 19 assists in 55 regular season games, then added a goal and two assists in eight playoff games.
