BROOKINGS – After leading by just five points at halftime, South Dakota State Women’s Basketball outscored North Dakota 24-11 in the third quarter and earned a decisive 72-54 win Saturday at Frost Arena.
SDSU (8-7, 4-0) shot 54 percent from the floor in the second half. Paiton Burckhard scored 15 points with six rebounds and five assists. Haleigh Timmer scored a career-high 14 points. Paige Meyer scored 12 points and Tylee Irwin had 10.
