Potter County is a ranked team for the first time this season, while all six top teams remain the same as last week in the South Dakota Media High School Basketball Polls, released Monday.
The 10-1 Battlers are tied for fifth in the Boys Class B poll after just missing being ranked last week. White River remains second and Lower Brule stays third. Unbeaten Winner remains third in the Boys Class A poll. White River moved up one spot to number three in the Girls Class B poll.
Boys number ones Sioux Falls Roosevelt, Dakota Valley and De Smet remain on top. So do girls top teams O’Gorman, Wagner and Aberdeen Roncalli, who remained on top of the Class B poll despite losing last week.
