White River Returns To Girls B State Tourney

FORT PIERRE – The defending champions are back in the state tournament.

Maleighya Estes scored 21 points Thursday as White River Girls Basketball defeated Herreid/Selby Area 44-32 in a Class B SoDak 16 game at Parkview Auditorium.

Karlie Cameron added 12 for White River (18-3).

Jada Rossow led Herreid/Selby Area (15-7) with 10 points.

White River will play Corsica-Stickney in the first round of the SDHSAA Girls Class B State Tournament Thursday at Watertown Civic Arena. Coverage will begin at 1:25 PM on 94.5/100.5 KPLO and at the KPLO page at the DRG News app & drgnews.com.
