USD LB Cochrane Named As Campbell Trophy Semifinalist

VERMILLION – USD senior linebacker Jack Cochrane has been named as a semifinalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy, which honors the top football scholar-athlete in the country.  Cochrane, from Mount Vernon Iowa, is one of only nine of the 199 semifinalists who carries a 4.0 grade point average.  He is a criminal justice major and was the Missouri Valley Football Conference regular season leader in tackles in 2019 with 106.
