TOKYO – Swimmer Michael Andrew, who spent much of his childhood in Aberdeen, just missed winning a medal Monday, finishing fourth in the men’s 100 meter breaststroke final at the Olympic Games.
Andrew finished in 58.84 seconds, just a half-second out of third. He won at the U.S. Olympic Trials by one one-hundredth of a second.
World record holder Adam Peaty of Great Britain won the gold medal.
