DENVER – South Dakota Women’s Basketball started the game with a 45-5 run Thursday and walked past Denver 79-51 at Hamilton Gymnasium.
Sully Buttes alum Chloe Lamb scored 14 for the Coyotes (13-4, 6-0), as did Hannah Sjerven and Maddie Krull. Lamb is now sixth in scoring in program history and third in made three-pointers.
USD won for the 11th straight game.

VERMILLION (AP) — Kruz Perrott-Hunt matched his career high with 25 points as South Dakota defeated Denver 80-71. KJ Hunt led the Pioneers on Thursday night with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
South Dakota improved to 9-7 overall and 2-3 in the Summit League.
