FORT PIERRE – Potter County’s fast pace was too much for Stanley County in boys’ basketball Monday.
Cooper Logan scored 19 of his 25 points in the second half as Potter County defeated Stanley County 73-50 at Parkview Auditorium.
Grant Luikens scored 24 for the Battlers (13-1), who are ranked fifth in the boys Class B Media High School Basketball Poll.
Logan scored 11 of Potter County’s 19 points in the third quarter as the Battlers extended a six-point halftime lead.
Lathan Prince led Stanley County (11-4) with 19 points. He hit five three-pointers. Cormac Duffy scored 12, but the Buffaloes lost back-to-back games for the first time this season.
