OMAHA, NE – South Dakota Men’s Basketball led by 27 points in the first half and cruised to a 91-69 victory over Omaha Thursday at Baxter Arena.
Tasos Kamateros scored 20 to lead five players in double figures for the Coyotes (14-10, 7-6). His play helped USD score 48 points in the paint.

VERMILLION – Strong defense helped South Dakota Women’s Basketball stop Omaha Thursday 61-35 at the Sanford Coyote Sports Center.
The Coyotes held the Mavericks to 27% field goal shooting and allowed fewer than 40 points for the fifth time this season.
Sully Buttes alum Chloe Lamb led balanced scoring by USD (19-5, 12-1) with 11 points. Hannah Sjerven, Liv Korngable and Grace Larkins scored nine points each.
