DENVER – South Dakota State Men’s Basketball broke a tight game open with a 23-2 second half run in an 84-61 win over Denver Thursday at Hamilton Gymnasium.
Douglas Wilson scored 18 for the Jackrabbits (22-4, 13-0). Matt Mims scored a career-high 15 points.
SDSU’s 13-game winning streak ties the second-longest current streak in men’s Division I play.

BROOKINGS – Myah Selland scored 25 points on 10-of-13 shooting Thursday to lead South Dakota State Women’s Basketball past Denver 79-52 at Frost Arena.
Tori Nelson scored 11 points and Paige Meyer had 10 for the Jackrabbits (16-8, 12-1), who maintained a tie atop the Summit League standings with South Dakota.
