Hughes County will be replacing Husted Bridge on 324th Avenue south of Harrold.
County Manager Lori Jacobson says the bridge is about two miles south of 204th Street or one mile north of 207th Street. She says detour signs are already in place, although work isn’t expected to start until the 2nd week of November.
Once work begins, 324th Avenue will be closed until the replacement structure is in place. Travelers in that area should plan to detour around the location until the project is completed, which is expected by the Thanksgiving Holiday.
