BROOKINGS – A 29-point fourth quarter propelled South Dakota State Women’s Basketball to an 80-69 win over Northern Iowa Saturday at Frost Arena.
The Jackrabbits (5-4), who broke a two-game losing streak, were 10-of-15 from the field in the final 10 minutes and shot 62 percent in the second half.
Myah Selland scored a game-high 19 points on 8-of-11 shooting. Haleigh Timmer scored 14, with Paiton Burckhard tallying 13 and Dru Glyten scoring 11.
SDSU will play Kansas State Saturday at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City.
