VERMILLION – Drake scored the last 18 points of the first half to break open a tight game and went on to defeat South Dakota Women’s Basketball 83-54 Tuesday night at the Sanford Coyote Sports Center.
Megan Meyer led with 18 points for Drake, who shot 51 percent from the field.
The Coyotes (4-5) were held to 28 percent shooting and were led by Grace Larkins’ 13 points. Morgan Hansen scored 10 points.
USD will play the second of five straight home games Sunday against Montana.
