SIOUX FALLS – Jim Glogowski, currently the associate head coach and defensive coordinator at Minnesota-State Mankato, will be introduced Friday as the new head football coach at the University of Sioux Falls.
Glogowski has been on the Mavericks’ staff since 2016, and in that time, Mankato has won or shared four NSIC titles. This season, the Mavericks were 10-3 and made the second round of the Division II playoffs.
Glogowski starred defensively at South Dakota, where he started four years, first at linebacker, then at safety and registered 298 career tackles. He is in the USD Athletics Hall of Fame. He later was the Coyotes’ defensive coordinator and head coach at Simpson College.
Glogowski replaces Jon Anderson, who was fired just after the Cougars missed the Division II playoffs this season despite finishing 8-3.
