Ryan Makes First Spring Start As Twins Lose To Phillies

CLEARWATER, FL – Gilberto Celestino hit a two-run single and infield prospect Elliot Soto smashed a grand slam Sunday in the Minnesota Twins’ 10-8 spring training loss to the Philadelphia Phillies at BayCare Ballpark.

Joe Ryan made his first spring start, allowing a run and two hits with two strikeouts and a walk in an inning and two thirds for the Twins (1-2).
