FORT MYERS, FL – Carlos Correa made his first spring appearance of this season for the Twins Wednesday in a 4-4 tie with the Philadelphia Phillies at Hammond Stadium.
Correa, who returned to the Twins with a six-year, $200 million contract after deals with the Giants and Mets fell through, had an infield single in two at-bats and played three innings on defense.
Ryan Jeffers hit his first home run of the spring for the Twins (2-3-1).
Bailey Ober struck out three and walked one while pitching the first inning. Jhoan Duran and Jorge Alcala also pitched scoreless innings.
