APRIL 5, 2023:
Fort Pierre will begin plowing snow routes at 7am today (April 5, 2023).
When the wind dies down, the full crew will begin to plow the entire town. If possible, please remove (or limit the number of) vehicles from the streets to make the plowing efforts go faster and be more efficient.

APRIL 4, 2023, UPDATE:
Fort Pierre city offices are closed Wednesday (April 5, 2023) and a snow alert is still in effect. Vehicles must be moved off of emergency snow routes to allow for more effective clearing of streets.

APRIL 4, 2023, UPDATE:
The City of Fort Pierre will begin plowing snow routes at 10 am. Remove all vehicles off the emergency snow routes or they will be ticketed. They will continue plowing throughout the day as warranted or until conditions deteriorate and plows are pulled.

Fort Pierre city offices and the Stanley County Courthouse are closed today (April 4, 2023) and a snow alert is in effect. Vehicles must be moved off of emergency snow routes to allow for more effective clearing of streets. Also, as of 7am, a no travel advisory is in effect in Fort Pierre.
