Two people have been detained and an investigation is ongoing after a knifing incident yesterday (April 7, 2023) in Fort Pierre.
Information from the Stanley County Sheriff’s Office says at around 4:30pm in the 600 block of Lafamboise Drive there was an altercation between two individuals that turned into a knifing. Two suspects with injuries were detained. The investigation is ongoing.
Also responding were the South Dakota Department of Public Safety, Pierre Police Department and AMR ambulance service.
