VERMILLION – South Dakota State and South Dakota were both eliminated Sunday in the Summit League Volleyball Championship at the Sanford Coyote Sports Center.
South Dakota State, the sixth seed, lost to third seed Denver 25-20, 25-21, 25-15. Sylvie Zgonc had 11 kills and 10 digs for the Jackrabbits (9-20).
Fifth seed South Dakota was defeated by fourth seed North Dakota State in five sets, 29-27, 15-25, 17-25, 25-23, 15-7.
Kylen Sealock had 18 kills for the Coyotes (18-10). Madison Harms became the Summit League’s all-time block leader.
