VERMILLION – Grace Larkins scored 16 points and South Dakota women’s basketball hit 10 three-pointers Saturday in a 72-52 win over South Carolina State at the Sanford Coyote Sports Center.
Larkins was 5-of-5 shooting and also had eight rebounds and seven assists. Tori DePerry added 12 points.
USD (4-2) shot 50 percent from the floor.
After a 13-13 tie, the Coyotes scored the last nine points of the first quarter and gradually extended the lead for the remainder of the game.
