Twins Close Spring Training With Win

BRADENTON, FL – The Minnesota Twins closed their 2023 spring training schedule with a 7-5 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates Tuesday at LECOM Park.

Tyler Mahle pitched four innings, allowing a run and a hit while striking out three in his last start before the regular season.

Kyle Farmer had two hits for the Twins (14-15-3), including a double. Carlos Correa and Max Kepler singled.

The Twins will open the regular season Thursday against the Royals in Kansas City (2:30 PM Thursday, 1060/103.1 KGFX).
