SIOUX FALLS – The player who is arguably South Dakota’s best high school wide receiver has made his college choice.
Jack Smith, who will be a senior this coming season at Sioux Falls Lincoln, announced on Twitter Wednesday that he has committed to play college football at South Dakota State.
Smith, who had offers from North Dakota, Northern State, Augustana and others, set 11AAA records in 2022 with 89 receptions and 1,349 yards. He also had 15 touchdown receptions for the Patriots, who lost in the 11AAA semifinals to eventual state champion Jefferson.
