Central South Dakota teams Pierre, Winner and Faulkton Area remain atop their respective classifications in the South Dakota Media High School Football Polls, released Tuesday.
Six-time defending champion Pierre remains on top of the 11AA poll, with Winner remaining in the lead of the 11B rankings and Faulkton Area still in front in 9B.
Philip moved into the 9A poll at number five. The Scotties are 2-0, with one of those wins coming over 2022 9AA champion Wall.
Herreid/Selby Area returned to the 9B poll at number 5. The Wolverines have won two straight after a season-opening loss.
Stanley County received votes in 9AA.
Gregory, with a second straight loss, fell out of the 9A poll. The Gorillas received votes, as did Lyman.
Potter County received a vote in 9B.
