EAGAN, MN – Wide receiver Adam Thielen was placed on the COVID-19 reserve list Monday by the Minnesota Vikings.
No details were given by the Vikings on Thielen’s condition, and his status for Sunday’s home game with Carolina is unknown. The COVID-19 reserve list is for players who either test positive for the virus or come in close contact with an individual who has done so. A player is quarantined in either case.
Thielen has 11 touchdown receptions, a career high, to lead the NFL. He had eight catches for 123 yards and two touchdowns in last Sunday’s 31-28 loss to Dallas.
