Jackrabbits Lose Second Straight Game Since Being Ranked

CEDAR FALLS, IA – South Dakota State women’s basketball struggled again Saturday in a 65-48 loss at Northern Iowa, the second straight defeat for the Jackrabbits (3-2) since they earned a number-22 ranking in the AP poll.

Paiton Burckhard led SDSU with 18 points and eight rebounds. Myah Selland scored 16 and hit three three-pointers. The Jackrabbits shot only 33 percent from the floor.

SDSU will host Drake Tuesday in Brookings.
