BROOKINGS – In their first game in 23 days, South Dakota State men’s basketball cruised past Mount Marty 93-50 Monday at Frost Arena. Matt Dentlinger led the Jackrabbits (6-3) with 21 points and six rebounds. David Wingett and Luke Appel each scored 16. Baylor Scheierman scored 12 points and pulled down 14 rebounds for his fifth double-double of the season.
Gio Diaz led the Lancers (0-2) with nine points.
SDSU will host Western Illinois in their first two Summit League games Friday and Saturday at Frost Arena.
