SDSU’s Cornemann Transfers To Mount Marty

YANKTON – South Dakota State men’s basketball guard Cooper Cornemann is transferring to Mount Marty University.

Cornemann chose SDSU over South Dakota and Mount Marty after graduating from Yankton High School last season, but played for one minute in one game with the Jackrabbits.  He should have a chance for considerable playing time with the Lancers.  Mount Marty Head Coach Todd Lorensen said that the program is awaiting a decision from the NAIA Eligibility Center on when Cornemann can play.  Mount Marty’s next game is Saturday against Dordt in Sioux Center, Iowa.
