ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Valley Football Conference has revised its spring 2021 football schedule. Revamping was necessary after Indiana State opted out of playing.
South Dakota State’s opener, which had been scheduled for Saturday, February 20 at Southern Illinois, will now instead be Friday, February 19 at Northern Iowa. USD’s opener remains as originally scheduled, Friday, February 19 against Western Illinois in Vermillion.
Five games a week will be played in eight straight weeks, but an additional weekend will be set aside before the FCS Playoffs in case of postponements.
