SDSU 3rd, USD 6th In MVFC Preseason Poll

ST. LOUIS – South Dakota State was picked third by a poll of coaches and South Dakota sixth in the 2021 Missouri Valley Football Conference race.

The Jackrabbits finished one point behind second-place Northern Iowa.

Picked to win, to no surprise, is North Dakota State, winners of 38 straight games, the last nine MVFC championships and eight of the last nine FCS national championships.
