BROOKINGS – South Dakota State rallied to score the game’s last 13 points as the 23rd-ranked Jackrabbit women defeated South Dakota Saturday 80-75 at Frost Arena.
Tylee Irwin hit a jumper that put SDSU (15-2, 8-0) ahead with 14 seconds left. Irwin scored 12 and Myah Selland led the Jackrabbits with 26. Sully Buttes alum Chloe Lamb led USD (10-5, 6-2) with 26 points.

South Dakota State men’s basketball rallied from seven points down with 11 and a half minutes left to hand South Dakota its first Summit League loss of the season Saturday at Frost Arena 89-78.
Douglas Wilson and Matt Dentlinger each scored 21 to lead SDSU (11-4, 5-1). Baylor Scheierman scored 19. Stanley Umude notched a game-high 34 points for USD (11-7, 9-1), whose 10-game winning streak was snapped.
South Dakota State will play its next four on the road, with games set for Saturday and Sunday against Oral Roberts in Tulsa. South Dakota will play North Dakota in Grand Forks on Saturday and Sunday.
