VERMILLION – South Dakota women’s basketball eased past Oral Roberts Saturday 77-54 at the Sanford Coyote Sports Center.
Hannah Sjerven led the Coyotes (13-5, 9-2) with 21 points. Sully Buttes alum Chloe Lamb scored 14, hitting four three-pointers and adding six rebounds, five assists and three steals.
A COVID-19-related cancellation had kept the USD women from playing on their home court for seven weeks.

South Dakota men’s basketball moved into the Summit League lead Saturday by edging Oral Roberts 86-84 at the Sanford Coyote Sports Center.
A.J. Plitzuweit tied his career-high with 37 points, the last two coming on the game-winning free throws with 2.8 seconds left for USD (12-9, 10-3). The Coyotes now lead North Dakota State by a half-game after the Bison lost to South Dakota State Saturday.
Both USD teams will host Oral Roberts again on Sunday.
