SIOUX FALLS – North Dakota State rallied from a 10-point second-half deficit Tuesday to stop South Dakota 79-75 in the second semifinal of the Summit League Men’s Basketball Tournament.
Stanley Umude led USD (14-11) with 19, with Xavier Fuller, Tasos Kamateros and Kruz Perrott-Hunt each scoring 14.
NDSU still was nine points down with seven minutes to play, but the Bison then scored on 10 consecutive possessions. Rocky Kreuser scored 20 and NDSU hit 24-of-31 free throws to maintain its chance to win the Summit League postseason title for the third straight season.

A Kevin Obanor putback just before the final horn gave Oral Roberts a 90-88 win over South Dakota State Monday in the first Summit League men’s semifinal.
Baylor Scheierman scored a career-high 28 points for the Jackrabbits (16-7) and had hit three tying free throws with 9.3 seconds remaining.
On ORU’s last possession, Max Abmas drove the entire floor and missed a floater before Obanor’s effort won the game for the Titans.
