FORT MYERS, FL – Miguel Sanó drove in the game’s only run with a seventh-inning double Tuesday as the Minnesota Twins edged the Baltimore Orioles 1-0 in spring training play at Hammond Stadium.
Kenta Maeda started for the Twins and pitched three effective innings, allowing one hit and striking out four while needing only 41 pitches. Alex Colomé, Taylor Rogers and Tyler Duffey pitched an inning of scoreless relief for Minnesota (4-4).
The Twins will play Tampa Bay at Port Charlotte, Florida on Wednesday.
