FORT MYERS, FL – Michael Pineda struck out six Friday in two and two-thirds innings in a 8-5 Minnesota Twins’ spring training loss to the Atlanta Braves at Hammond Stadium.
Pineda threw 60 pitches and gave up two runs and five hits.
Minnesota (5-6) scored its runs in the fourth inning, capped by a two-run double by Luis Arraez.
The Twins will play Tampa Bay Saturday in Port Charlotte, Florida.
