BRADENTON, FL – Twins’ pitching allowed only six hits Tuesday, but Minnesota lost a 1-0 spring training game to the Pittsburgh Pirates at LECOM Park.
Former Air Force standout Griffin Jax started and threw three scoreless innings for Minnesota (9-11-1), allowing four hits and a walk. Pittsburgh’s Adam Frazier homered for the only run of the game in the sixth inning.
On Wednesday, the Twins will face the Tampa Bay Rays in Port Charlotte, Florida.
