EAGAN, MN – Wide receiver Adam Thielen was activated by the Minnesota Vikings Wednesday and practiced.
Thielen missed last Sunday’s 28-27 Vikings win over Carolina while on the COVID-19 reserve list. In his last game, a 31-28 home loss to Dallas on November 22, Thielen had eight receptions for 123 yards and two touchdowns.
Also, long snapper Andrew DePaola was signed to the 53-man roster from the practice squad. DePaola replaced a struggling Austin Cutting, who has waived by the Vikings Tuesday and cleared waivers Wednesday. The St. Paul Pioneer Press quoted a source as saying that the Vikings could sign Cutting to the practice squad later this month.
