PEORIA, IL – South Dakota State rallied for another good road win Friday, coming from an 11-point deficit to defeat Bradley, 88-84.
Noah Friedel scored 24 for the Jackrabbits (3-2), hitting five three-pointers and pulling down six rebounds. Baylor Scheierman and Alex Arians each scored 14. Scheierman hit four three-pointers; Arians knocked down three. Douglas Wilson scored 13.
Three-pointers made the difference for SDSU, as they hit 17-of-26, including 10-of-12 in the second half. Matt Mims and Friedel hit one each in an 8-0 ran just over midway through the second half that put the Jackrabbits ahead to stay.
South Dakota State will next play Thursday at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls in their first game of the Dakota Showcase against North Dakota State.
