VERMILLION – COVID-19 concerns forced South Dakota to postpone its scheduled men’s basketball home opener, which had been set for Wednesday against Drake at the Sanford Coyote Sports Center. It will instead be played on Friday.
This will be the second game between the teams this season. Drake defeated USD on November 27 69-53 at the Little Apple Classic in Manhattan, Kansas.
South Dakota is 1-5 after a win last Saturday over SDSU at the Dakota Showcase.
