UNDATED – With their Christmas Day win over the Vikings, the New Orleans Saints clinched the NFC South Division and are in a battle with Seattle to try to maintain their number two seed in the NFC playoff picture. Green Bay continued their impressive play in a 40-14 win in the snow Sunday night over Tennessee and will hold on to the top seed with a win at Chicago or a Seattle loss to San Francisco on Sunday. Meanwhile the Seahawks also clinched the NFC West Division title with their 20-9 win over the LA Rams on Sunday, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers clinched their first playoff berth in twelve years with their 47-7 drubbing of the Lions on Saturday. Three playoff berths are still yet to be determined including the NFC East Division champion, while the Rams, Bears and Cardinals are still alive for the final two wildcard spots.

In the AFC, a Chiefs win over Atlanta on Sunday secures the top overall seed and a first round bye for the reigning Super Bowl Champions, who are now 14-1 on the season. The Pittsburgh Steelers broke a 3-game losing streak with a come-from-behind win over the Colts on Sunday, and coupled with Cleveland’s loss to the Jets, claimed the AFC North Division title. Buffalo has already clinched the East and can move back ahead of Pittsburgh into the number two seed with a win over New England tonight. The South Division crown still remains unclaimed as neither Tennessee nor Indianapolis could get a win on Sunday to get the upper hand, and both teams are now 10-5. All wildcard spots are still left unclinched, as Miami, Baltimore and Cleveland are all in the hunt, but one of those five teams at 10-5 will not be making the playoffs after next Sunday’s final regular season games are completed.
