FARGO, ND – South Dakota State women’s basketball clinched at least a share of the Summit League regular-season title Saturday with a 69-60 win over North Dakota State at the Scheels Center.
Tylee Irwin surpassed the 1,000-point mark for her career with 31 points on 11-of-15 shooting and made three three-pointers. Paiton Burckhard scored 11.
SDSU is 12-0 in the Summit League and has won 16 in a row. Only one more win or one South Dakota loss is needed for the Jackrabbits to clinch the Summit League regular-season championship, but SDSU already knows that it will be the top seed for the Summit League Women’s Basketball Championship next month.
