OMAHA, NE – South Dakota Volleyball was swept in its first-round NCAA Tournament match Wednesday by Missouri, 25-21, 25-17, 25-15 at the CHI Health Center.
The Coyotes, who made their second-ever NCAA Tournament appearance, were led by nine kills each by Sami Slaughter and Elizabeth Juhnke. Madison Jurgens had 21 assists and six digs.
Kylie Kuyava-Deberg led Missouri with 16 kills. Andrea Fuentes had 39 assists for the Tigers.
USD, which had won its four previous matches, including the upset of Denver for the Summit League tournament title, finished 15-7.
